People with integrity show honesty and make decisions based on high personal and moral standards. Most importantly, having integrity means always trying to do what’s right even in the toughest situations. All parents are encouraged to pick up a Humility handout available at the front desk.

 looking for something exciting to do this Summer? North Shore Taekwondo’s Summer Camps are the best! We still have a few spots available in camp 2 (July 19th - 23rd) and camp 3 (July 26th - 30th). Not only will students be training in Taekwondo each day, but the camp will also include some extra sessions on street safety and stranger safety.
In the afternoons, students will be engaged in some exciting activities such as laser tag, swimming, rock climbing, and bowling. We will be offering 5 week long camps this Summer. All camps will also adhere to a Nut-Free policy ensuring that all students have fun in a safe environment. All day camps run from Monday - Friday, from 9am - 3:15pm daily. Night Watch
the next scheduled Night Watch is scheduled for Saturday, July 24th. This is always an exciting night of fun games, pizza, and a movie. The cost for Night Watch is $25 per child. Students must fill out a Night Watch sign up form and hand it in together with payment to the office. As always, the nightwatch is scheduled from 5pm-9pm.
Tax Adjustment / HST
unfortunately, as we all know, the HST of 12% is to replace the GST as of July 1st. This means that all membership fees must be charged at a tax rate of 12% instead of the 5% GST. All monthly recurring billing will be updated automatically to reflect this new tax structure. If you have any questions regarding your tuition arrangements, please contact us.
Self Defense Week
 during the week of July 5th - July 10th, the instructors will be discussing realistic street self defense and stranger safety with all the children’s and youth classes. This will be a week of no-nonsense, REAL and PRACTICAL self defense drills and techniques designed for students to understand and execute.
A follow up letter with tips and valuable information for parents will be handed out at the end of the week. This week of lessons will be filled with extremely valuable information that could save your child’s life. Reinforcing and discussing lessons at home is encouraged and will be beneficial for the whole family.
Summer Classes & Schedule
 Classes will be in full swing during the Summer! The schedule for July will remain the same as it is now. We look forward to some great classes during the warmer months and encourage all students to take advantage of the smaller class sizes. There may be some very minor modifications made for August and if so, we will let everyone know.
Taekwondo T-shirts
for those students that ordered T-shirts, they have arrived and can be picked up in the office. The cost for the t-shirts are $20.00.
