Spring Break Camp Camp!
from Monday, March 19th - Friday, March 23rd daily we will be hosting a weeklong Day Camp for children and youth. Our Day Camps are the best! Each day will offer a mixture or Taekwondo instruction and fun activities including swimming and laser tag. Students will have the opportunity to practice their required elements each day. More information and application forms will be available at the front desk soon. Spaces will be limited (only 12 spots left), and will only be reserved on a first come, first serve basis only.
Night Watch
The scheduled Night Watch is Sat. Feb. 18th. Night Watch is a night of pizza, games, and a movie all under the supervision of Master Milad. The cost for Night Watch is $25 per child. Students must fill out a Night Watch sign up form and hand it in together with payment to the office. As always, the night watch is scheduled from 5pm-9pm.
Promotion Test
The next scheduled promotion test is officially set for Sat. Feb. 11th. Students qualified to test will be contacted directly by one of the Instructors. Please note the following test times:
All Tigers / Dragons: 1:00 - 2:00pm
All Youth: 2:15 - 3:45pm
All Adults: 4:00 - 5:00pm
Anti-Bullying Week
Wed. February 29th is Pink Day, otherwise known as Anti-bullying day. North Shore Taekwondo will be dedicating the last week of February to raising awareness against bully- ing. If you would like to order a Pink North Shore Taekwondo t-shirt, please sign up at the front desk. Cost per shirt is $15 and orders must be received by Friday, Feb. 10th. February.
Adult Morning classes
our adult morning classes are in full swing every Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:30-10:30am. These morning classes are taught by Master Kook and Instructor Calder. Parents, come out and have a sweat - a great start to your day!
2012 B.C. Provincial Taekwondo Championships
on Saturday, March 31st, the annual B.C. Provincial Taekwondo Championships will take place at Capilano University. Taekwondo
clubs from all over B.C. will gather under one roof to test their skills in both the poomse and sparring divisions. Applications and online registration will be available at the end of this month.
