Theme of the Month: Confidence

This month, we’ll be discussing Confidence during our weekly lessons. It is incredibly important for children and youth to act, feel, and think confident in order to make good decisions. Please pick up a Confidence handout for parents from one of our instructors or download here

Combat Child Slavery Fundraiser!

Once again, West Vancouver Taekwondo, East Vancouver Taekwondo and North Shore Taekwondo will be hosting a special event on Saturday, Apr 28th from 2pm – 4pm. We will be hosting a BBBC event which is a “Breaking Boards Breaking Chains” event. We are proud to be partnering with Martial Arts for Justice (a non profit organization) to help protect children from slavery. For more information on this event, you can visit the following link:

All proceeds will go to IJM (International Justice Mission) and all donations over $15 will be issued a tax receipt.
Event Details
What: Board Break-a-thon fundraiser
When: Saturday, April 28th 2-4pm

Where: East Vancouver Taekwondo (1821 Renfrew St, Van)

Why: To raise funds to help combat child slavery

How: Students will be given pledge forms. For every $20 raised, students will get 1 board to break with a technique of their choice on the night of the event.

We look forward to hosting a successful event and hope you will participate to help this cause!


Night Watch!

Back by popular demand! We will be hosting another fun evening of games, pizza, and a movie on Friday, April 20th from 5pm-8pm in the Music Hall at the West Vancouver Community Centre. This is open to all students and friends of West Vancouver Taekwondo and will be lead by Master Jung and assistant instructors.

The cost for the event is $30.

Please submit payment and interest form to one of the instructors to secure your spot!
